The purpose of the Code is to act as a benchmark for good practice, providing a framework for assessing the quality of services and the means of quality assurance for young people, information service managers and funding bodies. Developed by the National Youth Information Monitoring Committee, the Standards have been adopted by the Department of Education and Science. |
Induction Pack for Youth Information Workers The Induction Pack acts as a guide to assist with the introduction of new information workers to the various aspects of youth information delivery. The purpose of the Pack is to create awareness of, and provide basic facts on, the principles and skills involved, and to provide guidelines for the organisation of significant work areas.
